Zippo starts in Pescara (Italy) and takes its first steps in the summer of 2004. The original aim was to play a thousand-faces-stoner-rock, from massive and pachydermic sounds to moments of quietness and peace.

In Summer 2008 Zippo signs a deal with the roman label Subsound Records. ‘The Road To Knowledge’ has been released by the end of 2008 and distributed worldwide from the early months of 2009.
